Courtesy visit to Akira Nakasone
As members of the Kanbun Uechi Statue Committee, we paid a courtesy visit to the campaign office of Akira Nakasone, former Director General for Residents’ Affairs of Motobu Town, who worked hard to make the statue of Kanbun Uechi a reality.
We told him about the dedication demonstration in front of the statue during the 2027 Yaedake Cherry Blossom Festival, and about the construction of a demonstration area in front of the statue, planned in about two and a half years as part of the association’s events for the statue’s 10th anniversary.
